Banana Oatmeal Bars

A delicious and nutritious treat perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Add rolled oats, almond butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt to the bananas and mix well.
  4. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • These bars can also be frozen for longer storage.
