  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets in the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and cook the salmon skin-side down for about 5 minutes.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through.
