Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade

A beautiful and refreshing drink perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butterfly pea flower
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add the butterfly pea flower and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the flower and let the tea cool.
  4. In a pitcher, combine the cooled butterfly pea tea, lemon juice, honey, and 2 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

  • For a sweeter lemonade, adjust honey to taste.
  • This drink can change color based on the acidity from the lemon juice.
