  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  2. Add the carrots, celery, and onion to the pot and sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the chicken ham, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and peas, cooking until heated through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and crumbled bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine during the cooking process.
