Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake

A rich and indulgent chocolate raspberry mousse cake that combines the flavors of velvety chocolate and fresh raspberries, perfect for special occasions.

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter and eggs to the dry ingredients, and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  6. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold in fresh raspberries gently into the whipped cream.
  8. Spread the raspberry mousse over the cooled chocolate cake.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
