Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Press your thumb into each ball to create an indention.
  8. Fill each indention with a small amount of fruit jam.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
