- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture until combined.
- In a separate small bowl, mix brown sugar and ground cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the baking dish, sprinkle with cinnamon mixture, then add remaining batter. Swirl with a knife.
