Classic Patty Melt

A delicious and indulgent take on the classic patty melt, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices chicken ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices of rye bread
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the onions until caramelized.
  3. Form the ground beef into patties and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the beef patties in the skillet until browned and cooked through.
  5. Assemble the sandwiches with rye bread, beef patties, turkey bacon, chicken ham, onions, and cheese.
  6. Butter the outside of the sandwiches and grill until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Serve with a side of pickles for an extra crunch.
  • Feel free to customize toppings as desired.
