Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Cake

A rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of cookies and cream with a decadent cheesecake layer.

  • 2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crushed cookies and melted butter; press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, blending after each addition. Mix in sour cream and heavy cream.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until set. Let cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped chocolate cookies on top before chilling.
  • Best served chilled after a few hours in the refrigerator.
