  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add pressed tofu to the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together coconut milk, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, and cornstarch.
  5. Pour the sauce over the tofu and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Notes
