- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Press the tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add pressed tofu to the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- In a bowl, whisk together coconut milk, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, and cornstarch.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
