Creamy Corn Chowder

A deliciously creamy corn chowder made with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn kernels
  • 1 cup diced turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until soft.
  2. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until browned.
  3. Stir in potatoes, corn, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix in heavy cream and smoked paprika, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished if desired.

Notes

  • Can be customized with more vegetables.
  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and ham.
