Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

A delicious and easy way to make chicken cordon bleu using turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices chicken ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by laying it flat and placing the turkey bacon and chicken ham on top.
  3. Sprinkle cheese over the ham.
  4. Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  5. In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in Dijon mustard and garlic powder.
  6. Dip each rolled chicken into the egg mixture and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Place the chicken rolls in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.

Notes

  • For a crispy topping, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.
