Easy Chicken Noodle Soup with Egg Noodles

  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from pot and shred using two forks.
  4. Add egg noodles to the broth and cook according to package instructions.
