Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add onion, carrots, and celery to the pot and sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in the cooked chicken and egg noodles. Reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and crispy turkey bacon.
