- 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
- Add the onions, carrots, celery, and garlic, cooking until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cook until al dente.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream, shredded chicken, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 more minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, add more heavy cream.
