Easy Green Bean Casserole

An easy and cozy green bean casserole recipe made with turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and trim the green beans.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, stir in half of the French fried onions, and top with the remaining onions.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to add cheese for extra flavor.
