  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, paprika, and salt. Add the chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the tomato puree and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce the heat and add the heavy cream, mixing well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
