  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  3. Add butter to the skillet, and then add the carrots. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the brown sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until the carrots are tender.
  6. Remove the lid, stir in the bacon, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
