Ham and Asparagus Strata

A delicious and hearty dish combining ham, asparagus, and layers of bread for a flavorful strata.

  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups fresh asparagus, chopped
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add the cubed bread, chicken ham, turkey bacon, asparagus, and cheese to the bowl, and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the strata is set and golden on top.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
