Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add dried hibiscus flowers and boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain the mixture to remove the flowers.
  4. In a pitcher, combine the hibiscus tea with lemon juice and sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Add 2 cups of cold water and mix well.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.
