  • 2 pounds chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, and salt for at least 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat, add cream and butter, stir until smooth.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
