  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk, salt, and garlic powder. Continue to cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
