1 pound fresh green beans
6 slices turkey bacon
1 cup cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup fried onions
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for about 5 minutes.
In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it into pieces.
In a large bowl, combine the blanched green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, crumbled turkey bacon, and half of the fried onions.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with the remaining fried onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
Can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
