  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add in flour, salt, Italian herbs, and olive oil. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and fold in shredded cheese.
  6. Shape into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
