- 6 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pie crust
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until soft.
- Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add chicken broth, chicken, peas, thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix flour with milk to create a slurry and add to the skillet, stirring until thickened.
