A delicious and easy Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a family breakfast or brunch gathering.

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 6 slices chicken ham
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 loaf bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  3. Layer bread slices in a greased baking dish, followed by turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cheese, pepper, salt, and mustard.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the casserole is set and golden on top.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Substituting ham for turkey bacon is also a great option.
