One-Pot Broccoli Mac and Cheese

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Add the elbow macaroni and broccoli to the pot, stirring to combine.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and milk, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender.
  5. Stir in the cheddar cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  6. Serve warm.

  • For extra creaminess, use half-and-half instead of milk.
