  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In another bowl, combine the pumpkin, milk, and brown sugar.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently. Pat to about 1-inch thickness.
  7. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
