Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

A delicious dish combining the classic flavors of scalloped potatoes and ham, enhanced with the richness of chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 2 cups diced chicken ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  3. Add half of the chicken ham on top of the potatoes.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the ham.
  5. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and pour half over the layered ingredients.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, chicken ham, cheese, and cream mixture.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding sautéed onions or bell peppers.
  • Leftovers can be reheated easily in the microwave.
