  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened. Add salt, pepper, and cheese.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer potatoes, ham, and turkey bacon, pouring cheese sauce over each layer.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
