  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces pasta (such as linguine or spaghetti)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice and zest.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well, then add the mozzarella and Parmesan, stirring until melted.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with additional mozzarella if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
  • Feel free to use frozen shrimp for convenience.
