- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces pasta (such as linguine or spaghetti)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice and zest.
- Pour in the heavy cream and mix well, then add the mozzarella and Parmesan, stirring until melted.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture and season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with additional mozzarella if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
