- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbly.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Add in turkey bacon, chicken ham, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni, and mix well.
- Pour the macaroni mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add cayenne pepper to the cheese sauce.
- Feel free to use different types of cheese for varied flavors.
