Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 pound sushi-grade tuna
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix diced tuna with mayonnaise, sriracha, green onions, and sesame oil.
  3. Form cooked rice into small squares.
  4. Coat rice squares with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the rice squares until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Top each crispy square with the spicy tuna mixture.
  7. Drizzle with soy sauce and sprinkle with furikake.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the tuna for 10 minutes before mixing.
  • Can be served with additional sriracha for spice.
