Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells Recipe

A delicious recipe for creamy spinach and ricotta stuffed shells.

  • 1 box jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread some marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like basil or oregano.
  • You can use frozen spinach; just make sure to thaw and drain it well.
