  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  3. Drain and steam the rice for about 20-25 minutes until cooked.
  4. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Mix about half of the coconut sauce with the cooked rice and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
  6. To serve, place the sticky rice on a plate, top with mango slices, and drizzle remaining coconut sauce over it.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds.
