  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, layer the cakes with caramel sauce, chocolate chips, and chopped pecans.
