Bombay Grilled Sandwich

A delicious and flavorful Bombay Grilled Sandwich that captures the essence of Indian street food.

  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup boiled potatoes, mashed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup green chutney
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chaat masala

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Mix the mashed potatoes with onions, green chutney, and chaat masala.
  3. Place the potato mixture on unbuttered side of two slices.
  4. Add grated cheese on top of the potato mixture.
  5. Top with the remaining two slices, buttered side up.
  6. Grill the sandwich until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Cut into triangles and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with ketchup or additional chutney.
