  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  3. Remove salmon and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and add garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  6. Add heavy cream, capers, and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  7. Return salmon to the pan and coat with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
