  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
  6. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
