  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Slice the brioche bread into thick pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Soak the bread slices in the egg mixture for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
  5. Cook the soaked bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Prepare a caramelized sugar topping by sprinkling sugar over the cooked French toast and using a kitchen torch to melt it.
