A delicious twist on the classic shepherd’s pie, featuring turkey bacon for added flavor.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup carrots, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey.
  4. Add peas and carrots to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture in a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden.

  • For a vegetarian option, use lentils instead of ground turkey.
