- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 4 cups beef broth
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
