Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Pasta

A delicious and easy pasta dish made with roasted red peppers.

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add roasted red peppers, heavy cream, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the sauce until well coated.
  5. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top.

Notes
