Strawberry Honeybun Cake

A delicious and easy-to-make strawberry honeybun cake that serves as a delightful dessert for any occasion.

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased baking pan, sprinkle with half of the brown sugar mixture, then layer with the remaining batter and sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool, then drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
